Beeswax Wraps

These zero waste food wraps are an environmentally friendly alternative to plastic wrap.  They are made from locally sourced Canadian beeswax, pine resin, jojoba oil and 100% high quality quilting cotton. We use pine resin that has been certified by the US Food and Drug Administration, to ensure a safe product for food wrapping. Jojoba oil (Simmondsia chinensis) is used to keep the wraps soft, and has been shown to have antibacterial properties.

Our prints change with fabric availability.  If you have special colour or theme requests, we’ll see if we have anything in stock that will satisfy your needs!

Each set contains 1 of each size 12" x 12", 10" x 10" and 8" x 8" (3 wraps). (30cm x 30cm, 25cm x 25cm and 20cm x20cm).

Wrap cheese, bread, fruit and veggies, leftovers, sandwiches and more! Beeswax wraps are breathable, and extend the freshness of your food. Wraps can be used in the freezer, if care is taken to let them thaw before attempting to remove the wrap from your food. 

Do not use to cover meat, or hot food. Rinse with cool water to clean.  A gentle dish soap can be used if the wrap requires it. Place flat on a baking sheet in a 200 °F (~90 °C) oven for 3 minutes to redistribute wax if necessary.  Wraps should last at least a year with regular use before this is needed.
