Bar Soap - Lemon Thyme

Lemon Thyme – This soap has a distinct herbal scent from the high quality thyme oil used. Thyme oil has a stimulating effect on the skin, and can increase blood flow. We also add essential oil of may chang for its fresh lemon scent. The blend of these oils provides a unique and refreshing experience. 

We handmake our soaps in small batches using our own carefully formulated recipes. Each oil has it's own fatty acid profile, which affects the properties of a soap bar. For this reason, we choose to use a mixture of olive, coconut and castor oils in our recipes. Olive oil ensures our bars are gentle and nourishing to the skin. Coconut oil is used to make the bars hard and long-lasting, and castor oil provides a lovely thick lather. Our soap bars are made using the cold process method, which allows the pH to drop as the bars age, which makes them gentle on the skin. We cure our soap bars for at least 4-6 weeks as well, which allows them to harden for high performance. Cold process soap making also results in bars that retain their natural glycerin - an important humectant and skin moisturizer.
